After a long battle with cancer my sister inlaw, Indira, passed away in November last year. It hit me really hard and I went underground for a while and didn’t want to face up to anything. After her funeral we discovered that when Indira was last in Sri Lanka with her family she had been very busy setting up some invaluable charities and one was for Cancer support. I jumped at the chance to offer my support by creating a logo for the charity called Cancer Care Trust, which offers a support network and a mobile mammogram truck. Nangi means little sister in Sinhala.
The trustees opted for the last design and used yellow to reflect happiness and positivity.
